Terms At A Glance

Overview

These Terms govern your use of the Path iOS app (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is designed to help you record and review your personal movement timeline. The App does not require a separate account; entitlements may be tied to your Apple ID through the App Store.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions (for example, monthly or annual) and a one-time lifetime purchase (non-consumable). All purchases are processed by Apple. Apple is the merchant of record.

• Prices are displayed in-app and may vary by country, currency, and applicable taxes.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
• If you switch devices or reinstall, you may restore purchases using the "Restore Purchases" option, subject to Apple's policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, refunds, billing issues, and subscription management are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and policies.

Feature Access And Data Visibility

The App records data regardless of your plan. However, access to historical data may be limited by plan.

• Free plan: you may view and export only the most recent 7 days of history.
• Premium plan: you may view and export an unlimited history, subject to device storage and performance constraints.

Visibility limits do not necessarily delete data. If you uninstall the App or delete app data, locally stored data may be removed and may not be recoverable.

Your Responsibilities

• Use the App in compliance with applicable laws.
• Do not misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer, or interfere with its operation.
• You are responsible for the device settings you choose, including Location and Motion permissions.

Exports And Backups

The App may allow you to export files, including database backups, containing your data. Exported files may include sensitive location history.

• Exports are initiated by you and are saved where you choose, such as Files, iCloud Drive, or AirDrop.
• If you share an export with a third party, you are responsible for that disclosure and any consequences.

We are not responsible for loss, exposure, or misuse of exported files outside of the App.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process and why. It is part of your agreement with us.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Location, motion, and inferred activity modes may be inaccurate or unavailable.

The App is not a medical, safety, emergency, or navigation product. Do not rely on it for decisions that could cause harm.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autheai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App at any time by discontinuing use and uninstalling the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, excluding its conflict of laws rules, to the extent permitted by law.
